Movie Time - Felicity Jane April What I'm Doing Now Kit

Another kit club I have decided to try out is the Felicity Jane kit. Now these papers are all exclusive to this kit club and I have just been drawn to how bright and colorful they are.

For this layout I used several sized circle punches and scattered them in a diagonal line across the page.

This is a picture of a movie date I just had with my son and daughter to see Insurgent -- loved it!

Hope you enjoy the layout!

Sweet Girl - April Hip Kit

Hello Again,

I have another layout share using the April Hip Kit. This time I used the Websters Pages paper that was in the kit, and let me tell you this paper is swoon worthy. Is was so hard to pick which side to use.

These are pictures on my now 22 year old daughter (can you tell I am a little behind in getting pictures onto pages). I love looking through these old photos, and remembering how my sweet little girl used to be.

These memories are the reason I scrapbook.

Hope you enjoy the layout!

Just Chillin - April Hip Kit

The April Hip Kit contains all kinds of bits and pieces from the newest Amy Tangerine line Rise & Shine.  After digging through all this fun stuff, I decided to get this picture of my son and our chocolate lab onto a page.

Now I know the little elephant has nothing to do with the picture but it was too cute not to use!

Hope you enjoy my layout as much as I enjoyed making it.

Hip Kit Club - April Kit

Hi my scrappy friends,

A few months ago I thought I would try out a new (to me) scrap kit club called the Hip Kit and I have to say that I have loved working through the amazing supplies that are included.

I thought I would start sharing what I am making with these kits and I sure hope you enjoy...

Aside from the main kit, there are add-ons and one of these every month is called a color kit and this gives me the opportunity to start dabbling in a little mixed media. The April kit included a stamp set, Prima watercolor pencils and some Heidi Swapp watercolor cards. I used all three on this layout!

Now the picture above is of my own little leprechaun who I am absolutely smitten with!

Hope you like the layout as much as I enjoyed making it...

You & Me Using Maggie Holmes Open Book

When I saw this dartboard and arrow paper included in the Open Book Collection I knew I wanted to scrap a picture of myself and the hubby.

All embellishments are from the collection as well. It was fun to use those frames and all the bits and pieces that were available and I have been hoarding.

Most importantly, it was a bonus to get this picture on a page.

NSD 2015 - Layout #2 Using the Open Book Collection by Maggie Holmes

Me again and I am happy to report I was able to play a little more on NSD.

Since I had the Open Book Collection out and a picture of some books....

I used some liquitex acrylic white gesso to lightly cover the background and then mixed up some modeling paste with some Heidi Swapp gold mist. I then applied the modeling paste and used a Donna Downey stencil.

You know I am not sure what I love more ... reading or scrapbooking... I think I will keep doing both.
