Lat Sunday I attended a baby shower for my cousin. My card was inspired from the new Cricut magazine.
The image is from Straight From the Nest. The measurements in the magazine were a bit off so I just improvised until I got the desired image. I used Kraft cardstock for the base and the top layer. The top layer was embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I inked the edges of the grass and used a button from my stash. I used chocolate twine from the Twinery to wrap around the bottom and tie a bow in my button. All other paper is from my stash. The momma to be really liked it and that is what matters.

Imagination Monday - Sweet Valentine
Emma at My Creative Time and Sarah at Pink Circut share a challenge every other Monday called Imagination Monday. This challenge is to use your Imagine (if you have one) or make an Imagine like card. I used the Yummy cartridge with my Imagine for the card. This was only the 2nd time I have used my Imagine and there is a slight learning curve but I figured I better start using it since I had to have 12 cartridges to go with it. (YIKES)
I used a stamp from Emma's You Had Me at Chocolate set, red stickles on the cherry, black gel pen to doodle, stampin up ribbon and LOTS of pop dots. I believe the background paper is from K&Co. and the solid color is DCWV. The white paper I used in the Imagine is from Walmart.

Thank You Card
In December, I participated in a Stocking Swap on the Cricut Circle message board. I had a fantastic partner and loved everything that I received. I wanted to show my appreciation and send a Thank You note. This is one of them images that I stamped awhile back to begin practicing my coloring. I hope she liked it.
All paper is from my stash. I used my Spellbinders dies to cute the mats, Prisma water color pencils, some doodling and a cuttlebug folder.

Tim Holtz Flower Die
Another item I just had to have... the Tim Holtz die to make the cute accordian flowers. Very easy to use, but hard to get these flowers to stay together. I think you need like super glue or something...still working on it. I was able to put a few cards together but after sitting around for awhile the accordians did come apart.
The paper is all K & Co., the ribbon is from Stampin Up, I used an Elmers paint pen to add dots to the hearts and a gem on the middle of the heart also from K & Co. The stamp is from last year by Hero Arts.

Card for A Friend
One of my fellow team members from FIF put a call out to send a card to her friend who had to be taken to the ER and then had to have a series of tests run. I am not sure of the outcome yet but definitely wanted to send some hugs. Awhile ago, I stamped images from all of the stamps I NEEDED and I thought one of these would be perfect.
This image is from Stampendous and I colored her with my Prisma water color pencils, used some stickles and my spellbinders dies. Some PTI ribbon and pop dots. Of course the stamped sentiment is from You Had Me At Chocolate from Emmas brand new stamps. I really want to start using all these great stamps I bought so you will probably be seeing more. Let me know what you think.
Blessings,
Jenny

Throwback Thursday with Emma - Paper Dolls & Embossing
I am always so excited to play along with Emma'a Throwback Thursday challenges. This week we were to use one of the Paper Doll cartridges and embossing. I used Paper Doll Dress Up and made a Princess.
Because she is a Princess I had to bling her out with my IRock and I used glitter paper from DCWV. All other paper is from my scrap heap. I used Emma's You Had Me at Chocolate stamp and some blue and white floss. Of course had to doodle with the gel pen and used 2 different cuttlebug folders for embossing. I also used some distress ink on the embossed background to give to some added dimension, the card shape and layering was cut using Birthday Bash. And how about that ADORABLE Princess Peachy face!!! Love it.
Since this little cutie is so Royal I will also be entering her into Momo's Princess challenge.

Cartridge Chaos Challenge - Mini Monsters
I LOVE the Mini Monsters cartridge as I really think that it can be used for so many occasions. I made another sweet Valentine with this cartridge and Emma's You Had Me at Chocolate stamps.
The background paper is from K & Co., ribbon from Hobby Lobby, some stickles and doodling.
I will also be entering this into the More then Favors Mini Monsters Challenge (edited to note that this will not be entered into the Challenge as I am LATE to the party - LOL, got me creating and that is what counts!!).

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge - Elephant
I had a note to participate in this Challenge to support some fellow DT sisters from Flaunt It Friday. You can find the entry at: http://www.alwayscrafting.com/. The challenge this week is to use an Elephant. For Christmas I received the Lite Cartridge Carnival (thanks Becca!!) and have been dying to use it. I immediately looked to this cartridge for my cut.
What an easy cartridge to use!! This was just 2 cuts for the elephant and then I also used the ticket cut for my sentiment. The background paper is from DCWV new Dots and Stripes paper. Ribbon from Michaels and the stamp is from Joy's Life. To complete this all I doodled with my black gel pen.

Tacky Tuesday - Whale From Create A Critter
Hello Again,
After a visit to the MIL yesterday I was able to get some crafting done last night. I had a list in front of me of some challenges and got to work.
Here is my card for Tacky Tuesday using Create a Critter's Whale Cut.
I cut the little girl at 4 and then all her layers (paper from Recollections). The background paper is from my never ending stash. I used a button from PTI with some pink floss. The stamp is from Joy's Life and of course some doodling with my gel pen. I also used the Cuttlebug folder divine swirls to give the sweet girl some dimension.

FIF Challenge - Give A Hoot Bear In Can
This weeks FIF challenge is to use the Give A Hoot cartridge. The image that was selected was the Bear in a can. When we received this assignment I knew I wanted to try a project using a Paint Can. I am not in love with this project but I think it is o.k. Actually, I really like the phrase that is on the same page with this cut (and I am thinking of making a racy project in the future using it).
Here is my Paint Can:
I used some blue polka dot paper inside the can. Dark Chocolate from PaperTrey Inc for the Bear with some google eyes. The trash can is from The Glitter stack from DCWV and the phrase Don't Be Trashy was cut using Stampin Up paper. The ribbon on the handle was from Michaels in their $1 bin.
Thanks for looking and I cannot wait to see how you Flaunt your stuff!!

My Creative Time Stamps
Hello,
I attended the UStream that Emma had when she announced her new stamp sets. Well, since I am on a crafty spending freeze this month I pre-ordered those babies right up. I just received them the other day and I have put the You Had Me At Chocolate stamp set right to work while making my Valentines.
The image is from A Childs Year using red and black paper from TPC. Ribbon from Michaels and patterned paper from my stash. I used my gel pen to highlight a few areas and a Spellbinders die for the tag shape. SO - how do you like that stamp? Love At First Sight ... I thought that went perfect with this image.

Wee Memories - Ribbon Challenge
Hello again,
As I mentioned in my post yesterday my little guy has been sick (doing much better thank God) but I was able to craft all weekend! In between getting 7-Up and water of course. I looked around for some challenges to challenge myself and use what I have on hand to do some projects. Well, together with paper, I am a bit of a ribbon hoarder. As a matter of fact before the end of the year I placed a PaperTrey Inc. order and a Stampin Up order but will not allow myself to open them until I use some of what I have. Very hard but by the time I do open them it will be a complete surprise to me.
Well, back on track. Wee Memories has a challenge to use ribbon on your project. I used some beautiful chocolate chip ribbon from Stampin Up. The deer image is from Cindy Loo (love this cartridge such precious images and easy layering), Dark Chocolate paper from PaperTrey Inc., patterned paper from my stash and the brand new You had me at Chocolate stamps from My Creative Time (pre-ordered these as I am also on a crafty buying ban this month).

Paper Playtime Challenge - Love
I was able to craft all day yesterday in between taking care of a sick 8 year old. He didn't need too much so I was able to get a lot done.
As I was stalking my blogs this morning I noticed that the Paper Playtime challenge this week is to use Love on your project. Well since I was working on Valentines yesterday I have several of those to choose from.
This one is from Simply Charmed using the Love Bug:
The background paper is something I have had so I do not remember the company. I also used stickles and my black gel pen.
This next one is from Sweethearts using the Cupid:
I believe the background paper on this one is from K & Co., pink ribbon from my stash, love button from K & Co., red stickles onthe heart and my white gel pen.
I hope you like. I have been able to create so that I will have many posts this week.
Blessings!

Scrappy Moms - Birthday Bash
Hi All,
I made this card last night to enter into the Scrappy Moms challenge to use Birthday Bash. This is such a fun cartridge and has some great card shapes on it.
With that said, I used the card shape that looks like a postage stamp, the snake and the phrase. I also used some Martha Stewart Bakers Twine, the patterned paper is Reminesce and the plain cardstock is just from my stash. I used a google eye and of course my white gel pen. I used a new Cricut mat when cutting this out so my snake overlay has a little boo boo )0:
Enjoy...

FIF Challenge - Mini Monsters Skull
Hello Peeps,
This week the Flaunt it Friday Challenge was to use the Skull cut from Mini Monsters. Well, I have LOTS of pictures to scrapbook of my little guy and these pictures in particular I thought fit this cut well.
The DANGER is the word art from the same page as the skull. I think the boys had MORE fun playing in the mud but what a mess.
Now make sure you check what all the Flaunt It Friday designers have in store for you and show us what you've got. Get Your FLAUNT on!!

Guest at Tuesday Treats Today - WICKED Birthday Card
I am a new guest poster at Tuesday Treats today and was just so excited and yet nervous. The ladies that post there are just so talented and I have learned so much so I wanted to share my craftiness as well.
My project is a Birthday Card for my daughter. The last couple of years for her Birthday we have decided to see a Broadway Show and go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner (YUMMO!!!). We are going to see Wicked this year and I wanted to make a card to match the poster for the show.
I laid this all out on my gypsy and there are really not that many cuts. Here is a picture of my gypsy girl:
See just 5 cuts - easy peasy!
And here is my daughters birthday card:
See just 5 cuts - easy peasy!
And here is my daughters birthday card:
I used 4 different cricut cartridges here:
Base Camp for the lettering (cut at 1 inch with the layer)
Sentimentals for the hand (cut at 1 and I also removed the envelope)
Mini Monsters for the hat (cut once at 4.35 and then flipped and cut again)
Forever Young for the faces. I used the Emblem feature and hit the circle on my gypsy so that only the faces were cut. (cut at 3 once and then flipped and cut again) For this cut I removed a flip on the front of the hair and the neck.
On the lettering and my background paper I used the Distressed Cuttlebug folder. The background paper is from the K & Co. Seasonal paper pack. The green and black paper are from TPC and the white glitter paper is DCWV. I used Black Diamond stickles on the black hat. The feathering on the hats are boas that I cut down and then glued (I saw Emma on My Creative Time do this on a CUTE card she had made previously and knew I would be doing this at some time). I used the Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch and some black ribbon from my stash.
Well I hope you enjoy my card - my daughter will actually be getting this today 1-11-11 as it is her Birthday! Happy Birthday Amanda I love you!!

Throwback Thursday with Emma - Heart
I am so excited.. Emma at My Creative Time has begun her Throwback Thursday challenges for 2011. This challenge is to use an older cartridge on your project and this week she wanted us to add a heart.
I used Wild Card for the card shape.
George and Basic shapes for the Circle layer.
Mini Monsters for the cute monster.
Designers Calendar for the BE Mine Heart.
I used Cotton Candy, Silver and Red Stickles, my white gel pen, Divine Swirls and another cuttlebug folder (just cannot remember the name - sorry!). For the finishing touch I used some Martha Stewart bakers twine for the bow on top.
The red paper is from TPC and the heart paper is old paper I had in my stash.

Flaunt It Fridays - Hello Kitty Blog Hop
Hello Welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog Hop. If you are here from JD at http://jdscricuteering.blogspot.com than you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go directly to Flaunt It Friday's at http://www.flauntitfridays.blogspot.com. For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Hello Kitty with Airplane on Page 65 from the Hello Kitty Greeting Cart.
For my first project a had Hello Kitty fly a Birthday Banner: (the Happy Birthday banner is also from the Hello Kitty cartridge found on page 38) I designed all this on my Gypsy and pretty much made it fit to page.
Now for my second project we got to choose any cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings and I chose to make a shrinky dink necklace for my niece. I used images on Page 29 (kitty face), Page 37 (butterfly) and 41 (cupcake). I again used my gypsy to get my images and first drew them on the shrinky dink material using a black cricut marker. I then removed the marker and replaced my blade using max pressure and multi cut 2. I then colored the images with my Prisma colored pencils. Before baking these I used my crop - a - dial to put holes in the top. While baking the poor butterflies antenna were so curled under that when I tried to straighten them they cracked right off. My niece will love this anyway.
I really hope you are enjoying our hop and are inspired by all the different projects. For following along and leaving a comment I have some blog candy (can you give me a WOOT!!). I will draw one winner on Monday evening (7 PM CST) to receive an IRock and will post the winner Tuesday morning. Remember, our hop will run all weekend long and I will choose the winner for my blog candy on Monday evening the 10th.
As a bonus, you must leave a comment on everyone's blog to have a chance to win the Grand Prize Giveaway which is the Love Always stamp set sponsored by Pink By Design. The grand prize will be on Sandra's blog! You will have all weeked to complete the hop and we will draw the winner sometime on Monday or Tuesday
Thank You so much for taking the time to hop with us for the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog hop we can't wait to see how you "Flaunt" your Hello Kitty this week at http://www.flauntitfridays.blogspot.com.

Flaunt It Fridays - Blog Hop This Coming Friday
This Friday the Flaunt It Friday Design Team is having a blog hop and it is all about Hello Kitty. Now who doesn't love that little kitty. The hop will start at http://www.flauntitfridays.blogspot.com on January 7 at midnight. There are 30 designers set up to inspire you. Along with two Hello Kitty themed projects, I will be offering up some blog candy too. To qualify be sure to stop by and leave me a comment and I would love it if you were also a follower.
