I am becoming quite the stamp purchaser so now I need to be a stamp colorer/user. Oh Boy! I found the Greeting Farm Stamps and just fell in love with their style. This little sassy girl Monday is colored with Copics:
The background paper is from DCWV Dots and Stripes. I used the Martha Stewart Loopy punch, a crystal swirl from Hobby Lobby, cuttlebug embossing, Spellbinders Die and a Stamp from My Creative Time.

YUMMY Spongebob Cake
My nieces birthday was last week and she wanted a Spongebob theme. I had made the invitations (which I posted earlier) and her momma (my SIL) is always in charge of the cakes. What do think of this cake:
This not only looks fantastic - it was SO good. The top was a yellow cake with buttercream frosting and the bottom was banana cake with fudge ganache. His feet and legs were rice krispies treats covered in fondant.

Flaunt It Fridays - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More
Our Challenge for this Flaunt It Friday was to use the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. The image selected was the Match 2.
I made this little box to hold my Cricut Calling Cards. I sized this on my Gypsy Girl so that a 3x3 card could fit inside. I used the window feature on the shift key so that you could see inside my box. I then used some acetate on the inside from one of my Cricut boxes. The paper used is from DCWV Flower shower stack that was out last year. I then cut a Cricut Circle emblem from the new Everyday Cricut cartridge that is the newest cartridge available to the Cricut Circle. I added some bling to the antenna and called it done.

Are You Ready For Spring?
I know I am - after the snow we had lots of rain which in itself was nice because it got rid of the dirty snow. Well, this morning I woke up to more snow. I miss the sunshine and the longer days. This sweet card reminds me of sunnier days and warmer weather to come.

Happy Monday
Here is a super cute (as least I think) card I made using my Imagine. The background paper is from DCWV Flower stack and layering this image over it really worked out well. I used a new stamp from Emma's Color Me Happy set. Some doodling. my SU border punch and ribbon from Michaels.

Thank You Card - Cricut Swarm
I am heading to Indiana this morning to attend a Cricut Swarm. For this swarm we are doing a Thank You card exchange. Here are the cards I will be exchanging:
The background was cut using Lacy Labels and the Thank You is from Songbird. Some seam binding for the ribbon, Prima Flowers, Gems, doodling and brads. I made 10 of these to exchange - I hope they like them!
Have a great weekend - hope I can check in but I know I will be yacking away all weekend.

Hug Me
When I received the request to make some more Valentines I had to put my thinking cap on. Well, this crab from CAC really looked like she was looking for a hug:
The adorable stamp is again from You Had Me At Chocolate from Emma's stamp set. K&Co background paper with the Martha Stewart loopy punch. Some doodling, twine from The Twinery, prima flower with a brad and stickles.
Hug someone you love today!

Cute card! Love the patterned paper you used! TFS!
Made By Momo Challenge
A friend of mine had requested a few cards for Valentine's. One of the cards I put together is perfect for Momo's new Tuesday Challenge:
The challenge this week is to make something with the colors Black, White, and Hot Pink!!! BUT, there is a catch.... It must have atleast one Heart!
This little cutie is from Create A Critter - I must say one of the easiest cartridges to use. I used a Martha Stewart loopy border punch, some heart buttons with twine from The Twinery, stickles, gel pen and a stamp from Emma's You Had Me at Chocolate set. The background paper is from K & Co. So how do you like my little Love Bandit - LOL!!!

You Say It's Your Birthday Blog Hop - And You ARE Gonna Have a Good Time
Hi All - You should have just arrived here from: http://www.buglvr.blogspot.com/
I was so honored to be able to participate in this Blog Hop that my sweet friend Erika is hosting for her daughter Ashley's birthday. If you have not seen her stuff then you are missing out (http://www.cricutlove1.blogspot.com/). Erika has been posting since last week a Beatles inspired project every day leading up to this.
The song I selected was I Want To Hold Your Hand:
I used my gypsy girl to find a hand image and then copied it and flipped it to move them together. This hand came from A Childs Year and when designing in my gypsy I hid the heart on the flipped hand. The white paper is from Walmart, yellow from my stash, background from the DCWV stack Flower Shower from last spring. I used red stickles on the heart, my IRock to give the one hand a blingy bracelet. I used the cuttlebug folder spots and dots for the background paper, doodled all around and then typed the sentiment out on my computer and cut it out with shape scissors.
I mailed this along to Erika's daughter Ashley along with some scrapping goodness to celebrate. I really hope she liked it all.
Thank you again Erika - I was happy to participate. Now if you get lost along the way I am posting the complete line up right here:

Nifty Fifties - Birthday Card - Inking It Up Crazy Challenge
Hi again,
I just love being able to craft and share, and since Kassidy at Inking It Up Crazy is having a Birthday Challenge well, I just had to oblige. I wanted to make a Birthday card for my cousin and I figured I should use a cartridge I HAD to have. This had me pulling out my Nifty Fifties and choosing a couple of images that I cut out and created with. The first one is this little bird:
Blessings (and enjoy the Super Bowl this evening!!),

Peachy Keen Challenge - Monochromatic & Sketch
Hi All -
Amongst design team posts, I was also able to work on the Peachy Keen Challenge this week - monochromatic and sketch. This was a tough one (hence the word challenge - LOL). First I had to think of an image and what could I use that would allow me to use several shades of the same color. OK - look through the Peachy goodness that I have - SCORE - I have a frog. This could be used amongst many shades of green:
I colored the little guy with my Prisma water color pencils and then used a blending pen all around. I then cut him out using my nestabilities. I inked all around the white with some Martha Stewart ink and pop dotted the image up. Paper is from my stash although I believe the patterned one is from SU. The flowers are small primas that I added a brad to, doodling and ribbon from the stash.

FIF Challenge - Lips from Indie Art
If you are looking for the Inking It up Crazy design post -http://kozfam5.blogspot.com/2011/02/inking-it-up-crazy-first-design-team.html Thanks!
Welcome to another Flaunt it Friday Challenge. This week we were challenged to use the Indie Art cartridge selecting the Lips feature. Thank goodness Provo Craft gave this as a free download to my gypsy girl otherwise I would have not had the image. Valentine mode around here still so I thought I would make a treat bag with some yummy Hershey kisses.
I used Glossy accents on the lips and the word SMACK. I used the candy cuttlebug folder on the black to give it some dimension. I have to say, my family was in wait, as soon as my project was done and the photo snapped the kisses were GONE ~ LOL!!
To check out all of the other great projects just click here: http://flauntitfridays.blogspot.com/2011/02/fif-10-indie-art-lips.html

Inking It Up Crazy - First Design Team Post
YIPPIEE!!!
I am SO beyond excited. I have been selected with some other VERY talented designers to work with Kassidy from Inking It Up Crazy on her design team. Our first project was anything goes. Since I am still working on some Valentines Day decorations for around the house I thought I would make a Banner of Love (LOL).
Anyway here is my banner with the recipe below:
The Banner itself is from the Straight From The Nest cartridge. The banner can be found on page 65 of the handbook. I cut 4 of them out at 4 1/2 with the layer and the shadow. The letters for the word LOVE are cut from the Rock Princess cartridge using the heart alpha feature. I cut them at 2 1/2 with patterned paper and then at 2 3/4 with white to add a layer, I also added stickles to the heart on the letters and doodled around on the white to try and add dimension. The rosettes were cut with the Tim Holtz die and my cuttlebug using the extended plates. All paper and ribbon is from my stash.
In the banner mode, I also made this love banner for my Cricut Circle Valentine Pal:
This banner was cut out using the hearts from Doodlecharms. I used the Tim Holtz rosette here are well and the Rock Princess letters. I sprayed some Tattered Angels on the rosette and letters and used some flowers in the corners. I hope she liked it.
Thank you Kassidy for this opportunity and to my fellow design team members ~ I look forward to getting my craft on with all of you.
Now, you can meet everyone too by hopping on back to Kassidy's site at: http://inkingitupcrazy.blogspot.com/

The Greeting Farm Stamps - Paper Playtime Challenge
Paper Playtimes Challenge this week is to use a stamp - the team all used Digi Stamps and I am just learning to play with those (sizing and all). I wanted to play along and I recently just got some stamps from The Greeting Farm - can I say they are ADORABLE!! This is my first card made with them although you will be seeing many more.
I colored this cutie with my Prisma water color pencils and used a blender pen. The background paper is a 6x6 pad from Imaginesce princess line. I used a Martha Stewart loopy border punch, a prima flower with a brad in the middle, a spellbinder die around the image inked around Martha Stewart stamp pad and some white seam binding for the ribbon. I bought the seam binding to start dying it and have not gotten around to it yet - soon I hope.
Hope you like it.

Playing With My Imagine
I made a commitment to myself to start playing with my Imagine. I really do love it and cannot wait to be able to use it to its full capability. I have only used the Images as they have appeared I have not made any changes - next on my to learn list.
Anyway, one of my dear friends was having a really bad day yesterday and I had actually made a card for her this past weekend so this was a wonderful opportunity to write a note and put it in the mail. I hope she likes it:

After taking a picture of this I did add some doodling with my black gel pen as I thought it looked a little plain here. On the inside aside from the note I added that she is the butter to my toast - LOL. Anyway hope you like it. Look for more Imagine projects in the future.

Surprise Birthday Card Request for FIF Pal
One of my Design Partners on FIF requested the team to send Happy Birthday wishes to her daughter who was turning 18. I made this card using Nifty Fifties.
The dress and large label were cut with Glitter paper from DCWV, the white paper is from my stash embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder, the background paper is from a stack from Hobby Lobby. I used Glossy Accents on the black stand, doodled around the edges and used an MPS stamp for the sentiment. I used nestabilities with my cuttlebug for the layering behind the dress form. I hope she enjoyed this!
