As I explained in a previous post, I donate cards for a raffle each year for a Save A Vet Benefit. I made the second set of cards using the Suburbia Cricut cartridge:
I used the 6x6 Crate Paper Farmhouse pad along with the Simon Says stamp set titled BE. The word bubble is a die from My Favorite Things. Pop dots, seam binding, memento black ink and a border punch from Stampin Up to complete this set.
I will be using a couple more Suburbia images for additional cards just need to work out the design and sentiment.

Birthday Cards for Grayson
There is a beautiful little boy who was going to be celebrating his 1st birthday in the hospital being treated for leukemia. Well, card makers gather round Erin Lee Schreiner posted about this on Facebook and asked for us
to flood this little guys room with some cards.
Here is the card that I put in the mail:
This card was assembled using an old kit that I had from Bo Bunny. I added a
#1 thicker and used stickers on the inside along with a message for him and his family.
Definitely praying for them all as we know our God is the ultimate healer.

My Favorite Things Birthday Card
Hello Again,
We celebrated my MIL's birthday this past Sunday and I made this birthday card for her:
Are these sunflowers not gorgeous!! This is a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Splendid Sunflowers. I inked this up with Distress inks Wild Honey, Crushed Olive and Tea Dye. The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set called Signature Greetings stamped with Memento Ink Rich Cocoa. Again, I used a DCWV pre-made card base, twine from My Favorite Things and a button from my stash.
I decided to make another card using these beautiful sunflowers along with the Chalkboard Greetings set:

Dr. Checkup - Get Well Cards
Each year a friend of mine throws a Save A Vet Halloween benefit. For the benefit I put together 2 scrappy baskets full of some supplies and cards. Well although we are just at the beginning of September, I have 40 (2 sets of 20 cards each) cards to make for this so I figured I better get started.
The first set I made are Get Well cards. I used the Cricut cartridge Dr. Checkup for these:
I used my gypsy and E2 machine to cut out the doctor from the Dr. Checkup cartridge. The card base is a pre-made card from DCWV, the polka dot and striped paper is from a 6x6 pad from American Crafts called Dots & Stripes. The stamps are all from a Lawn Fawn set titled On the Mend and were stamped using Stampin Up ink Old Olive and Garden Green. With the addition of some floss and pop-dots I called these cards done.

Noel Mignon Spooky Camp Challenge
When playing in the Noel Mignon Camp a few weeks ago we were challenged to put together a Spooky project (as in sitting around the campfire telling scary stories). Well, I again dug through some very OLD photos and got them put onto a page - YIPPIEE!!
These photos are from 1989 of my daughter on Halloween. I was not a scrapbooker at that time so I sure do have a lot of catching up to do. But I don't mind, this really brings back the memories for sure.

Teacher Gift using Printable from Jennifer McGuire
Hello Again,
Well this week was back to school for my son and I saw an awesome free printable at Jennifer McGuires site; http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2013/08/free-printable-teacher-cards.html
I decided to make up 3 of each of the examples for my sons teacher along with the card that I had made for DCWV August sketch challenge.
And here is my handsome boy with his new 5th grade teacher.

Heat Transfer Vinyl
Hello Again,
Some friends and I are going to be participating in a Pretty Muddy run on Saturday, September 7th. I wanted to create something for our team shirts and came up with the following:
I used the Feeling Groovy cricut cartridge for the font and welded it all together. The silver glitter heat transfer vinyl in from H&H Sign Supply.
Well not only do we have a bunch of moms participating, but one of the daughters wanted to run to so I added this for her:
I used the same font for the additional words.
Blessings, Jenny
(I will add pictures of us all muddy when we wear these!)

Paper Crafts Magazine & October Afternoon
Hello Friends,
Today was back to school day in my house and after I did some chores and ran to the store I used some free time to create some cards.
Well, when I got my hot little hands on the new issue of Paper Crafts magazine a card on the cover really caught my eye - the reason -- I had all supplies on hand to replicate it. So please, by no means is this an original design. The magazine gives credit to Mary Jo Johnston (so thanks for the inspiration cuteness Mary Jo!!)
Here are my cards:

The background paper, brads and cute postcards are from October Afternoons Witch Hazel line. The ribbon is from Michaels Celebrate It line and was in my stash. I also used some Glitter Glaze to add some sparkles on the postcards from My Favorite Things.
Hope you enjoy these!

Noel Mignon Summer Camp - Smore Challenge
A week ago the Noel Mignon Facebook group hosted a Summer Camp - each day several challenges were listed for you to partake in. They assigned all who said they would like to play and broke us up into 3 teams (Firecrackers, Dynamite and Shooting Stars). I was on the Dynamite team and we won for most team participation! It really was a lot of fun and it certainly helped to inspire me and to get more pictures onto some pages.
I put this layout together for the Smores Challenge - it was to use lots of layers...like you were building a smore:
I used a Noel Mignon kit for my paper and embellishments, a Pink Paislee stamp and some washi tape. Love these pictures of my DS and his cousins from this past 4th of July.

Noel Mignon August Sketch
Hello Again,
I have another layout to share with you today. This was completed using the Noel Mignon July scrapbook kit:
The paper line is from Simple Stories. This is my son and 2 of his cousins in 2011 when we took a short trip to Michigan. They were playing outside and the pictures so reminded me of kids playing ring around the rosie - which is where I got my Title of All Fall Down.
I just love these kids and documenting the memories!

DCWV August Sketch Challenge
Hello Again,
Believe it or not, I have been crafting I just have not taken the time to update the old blog here.
I have been trying to keep up with the DCWV Sketch Challenges each month and the sketch for August was no exception. I created for both the Scrapbook Sketch as well as the Card Sketch.
For the Layout Sketch, I used the Citrus Stack. This stack has such bright and fun colors it was just perfect to use for these pictures of my daughter:
These pictures were taken when my sweet daughter Elizabeth there was just finishing up kindergarten. Well, this past summer she just turned '21'!! Where does the time go? I did not scrapbook when my girls were younger so I have a whole LOT of pictures to catch up on and with the sketch challenges that DCWV puts out each month, it sure helps me to get these pictures on some pages.
The second sketch was for a card layout and I used the 6x6 Everyday stack to make a back to school card:
The stamp is from Pink By Design School is Cool set and I thought it worked perfectly with this card. This year my DS begins school on Monday, August 26th and for the first time that I can remember they will have a full day so I think I am going to sneak this into his lunch.
I hope you enjoyed my projects and make sure you check out the Sketch Challenges on DCWV - you still have time to enter for August!

Studio Calico INKED Class Day 2 - Glossy Accents & Stickles
Hello Again,
Todays INKED classroom had us using Glossy Accents & Stickles. I have used both of these techniques before, but again, what a nice reminder to get supplies out that I already have on hand and USE them.
The stamps used were included with the Class Kit when you enrolled at Studio Calico. I used Memento Ink in Grape Jelly and Papertrey Ink paper in plum pudding. Flowers and leaves are from Prima (stash), button brads (stash), glossy accents were used around the frame and stickles were used at the bottom point of each chevron. The banner die is from My Favorite Things. (I just noticed I used the wrong frame provided in the kit for this project but I still think it looks nice. I'll just have to make another one with the correct frame - bonus there is that it will be another Thank You card for my stash!!)

Studio Calico INKED class
I signed up to take a class at Studio Calico called INKED. The class is going to help me get more out of my stamps. Todays class was all about stamping on patterned card-stock. I have done this very little in the past, and most times I have actually heard this referred to as paper piecing.
After watching the video I got to work. I paper pieced 2 different stamps that I have, and used one of these to make a card.
This next one is a stamp from LaLa Land titled Ruffles Marci. I again used tuxedo black memento ink. The paper pad I used here is from DCWV and is called Hippie Chic. The sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things and was a freebie I received when placing an order that qualified for their triple scoop. The spangles are from a mix bag I bought at Walmart.
Here are the 2 projects I worked on today in the Classroom.

This first one is a Prima Stamp by Julie Nutting. Now these are big stamps which makes paper piecing them easier then smaller images you may work with. I stamped her with tuxedo black Memento ink and used a 6x6 paper pad from Teresa Collins titled Spring Fling.

Unity Friends with Flair Friday
Hello Again.
Sorry for the empty blog this week. I of course wanted to get a card done for Friends with Flair Friday so I put this together:
I just got this Phyllis Harris stamp (Let Beauty Surround You) in the mail this week and am SO happy that I inked her up already. I colored her with Copics, used DCWV paper from a 4.5 x 6.5 pad called Pocket Full of Posies, a spellbinders die to cut her out and a cuttlebug folder to give her some dimension.
Hope you like her!

Bloglovin as a Google Reader/Connect Replacement
I am copying this from directly from Bloglovin:
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
July 1st will be here soon...
Make your switch
from google reader to bloglovin.
Here is the best information I could find.
If you missed the information about Google announcing its upcoming axing of Google Reader on July 1, I wonder where you have been?? With Google Reader going, there won’t be much point for Google Friend Connect (as the only thing it really does is adding the newly subbed blog to the Blogger Dashboard & Google Reader) This is another step in Google’s ploy to force the world onto their shoddy Google+ service. Which I can’t figure out.
Let’s go with BlogLovin as a Google Friend Connect Replacement instead!
Why? Because! Because they have an app for iOS (they are working on an Android app too) and because their interface, both web and mobile and mobile app is just sleek and clean and they are a really helpful bunch too. And the best thing is that their service is free too! AND you can import the blogs you’re following on Google Reader / GFC to Bloglovin!
Get Bloglovin for your Blog
(1) Sign up to Bloglovin with your email and (2) find the ‘claim blog‘ button. (3) Then enter your blog address (eg missdriftedsnowwhite.com) and (4) click on the result. (5) Then copy & paste the code that Bloglovin provide you with into a widget in the sidebar (not like it says in a post!) and voila, you’re verified that the blog you’re trying to claim is indeed yours.
(6) Click on ‘follow buttons’ on the very bottom of the page, (7) pick the one you want to display on your blog, click on it, (8) copy & paste the code into wherever you want it to be displayed, and you’re done!
Import the blogs you follow to
BlogLovin
You can import the blogs that you follow on GFC / Google Reader directly with BlogLovin now. (1) Go to this page, (2) click on ‘Google Reader’, then on (3) ‘Import from Google Reader’, (4) grant Authentication and off you go!

Fathers Day Card
Hello Again,
In my last post I mentioned that this is HIGH card season around here - here is the card I made for my dad for Father's Day.
When Lili of the Valley released this golfer stamp I knew I had to have it for this exact occasion. I colored it up with my Copic marker and used a spellbinders die to cut it out. Paper is from the 6x6 My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally pad. Twine is from The Twinery, DAD stamp is from Creative Time for Me and the star was in my stash. This baby is in the mail already as my dad is in Florida and I am in the Chicagoland area.

DCWV June Stack-A-Holic Template Challenge
I was able to complete both template challenges for the DCWV June Stack-a-Holic Challenge (http://dcwvinc.blogspot.com/2013/06/june-stack-holic-template-challenge.html). Yesterday I posted my card and today I would like to share my scrapbook page.
This is just 1 of the thousands of pictures I have from my sons football season last year. His team completed the season undefeated! Super Bowl Champions - we were extremely proud.
I used 2 different stacks for this picture - The Guy Stack and The Athletics stack - it is amazing how so many stacks you can use together. The plain card-stock is all DCWV as well. I am so inspired when using sketches - it really helps me to get more scrapbooking done.

Circle Ville Oh The Places You'll Go Challenge
This challenge provided us with a sketch to use. I utilized the sketch and made a card for my mom for Mothers Day.
I used the Doodle Charms cartridge for my lady bug and the Daisy cuttlebug folder for dimension. Paper is from a 6x6 pad from MME called Gnome Sweet Gnome. Stamp is from Stampendous. Google eyes, button, doodle pen and floss are all from stash.
In all, the Circle Ville Challenges got me crafting and using cartridges I have not used in a long time or EVER. It was so nice to just do something.

My Take - May Stack-a-holic Template Challenge
Hello Friends,
Did I mention how much I am loving using Templates to get my pictures on to pages. DCWV sure helps with this when they offer their Template Challenge each month. Here is my take on the May Challenge:
I used the Playtime stack and scraps that I had leftover from the Celebration stack papers that I used in the April Challenge. The Playtime Stack is all printed on Kraft paper and let me tell you the background cloud paper is very sparkly in person - so pretty!
Thanks for continuing to inspire me with the templates and your amazing paper DCWV!!!

Circle Ville Tic Tac Toe Challenge
This challenge was laid out like a Tic Tac Toe game and you had to choose which combination of items you would use to complete your project. I selected the Cuttlebug, Bling and Ribbon row.
I used the A Child's Year cartridge utilizing the card feature along with the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. Paper is from paper Try Ink, stamp is from My Creative Time Mom You Rock set. Stickles, ribbon and bling from stash.
