I am participating once again in the DCWV stack-a-holic challenge. I love the sketches that they provide it is really a great stepping point for inspiration.
My daughter and her boyfriend asked me to take their photos in their Ugly Christmas sweaters for their Christmas card. Here are a few of the photos on my completed layout.

Fancy Pants Circus Line
Hello and how was your Christmas?!?!
Ours was great filled with family. Well the day after Christmas I was able to take a little time for myself and get my scrap room cleaned up a bit. It was being used to hide all the Christmas presents so was in quite a sorry state (or sorrier the normal I should say).
In November the Circus was in town and my daughter wanted to bring her brother (my son). So she and her boyfriend know that sending me a picture is required so that I can scrap it. Here is what I came up with using the Fancy Pants Circus line..
Hope you like it.

Jump & Splash
I was inspired to put this layout together from watching a process video on YouTube by Jen Schow - I definitely cannot take credit for this fantastic design. When I saw the paper that she chose to use, I knew I had received that exact same paper in a Noel Mignon kit. I dug that kit out and got to work.
These pictures from this past summer were perfect for this page. I cannot tell you how may contests I judged on who was making the biggest splash!
Products used for this layout:
Chickaniddy Crafts Scrumptious paper
Coredinations cardstock in Naussau Blue for the background
October Afternoon Daily Flash tin pins & pop drops
October Afternoon Mini Market stickers in Gray & Cream
Thickers Sytlist
Fancy Pants True Friends sequins & stickers
Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Mustard & Mint Green

Halloween 2014
What is it about boys that when they get older, the costumes just get creepier and creepier! This year was no exception, my son dressed up as Pumpkin Head.
Now, I have been hoarding October Afternoon paper for some time and I thought I better put some Witch Hazel to use. All the paper and embellishments are from this line and it made putting this layout together quick and easy.

Halloween Cards using Bewitched by DCWV
Hello Again,
I was able to grab a little scrappy time for myself and wanted to get some cards out for my niece and nephews for Halloween. Well, DCWV came to the rescue with the Bewitched stack (this is from a couple of years ago).
I tried to match each card to their chosen costumes this year. A cat for my niece, a ninja for 1 nephew and the headless horseman for the other. The designs were cut using my Cricut Explore and the paper used and pre-made cards are all DCWV.
These are off in the mail along with a little treat.

Shimelle Collection by American Crafts
I recently attended this little get together called Circle Mania and was able to put 12 layouts together. No time like the present to update the old Blog here and start sharing again!
I recently acquired the Shimelle collection by American Crafts and a friend and I challenged each other to get some layouts done with it.
The paper and embellishments all coordinate together so well that it made making not only 1 layout but 3a complete breeze!
I would say my daughter may have liked these herself as she has taken the 2 of herself and her boyfriend to frame and hang in her new apartment.
I love documenting these memories!!

#CirclevilleNSD Challenge #10 Did I Mension
A dimension challenge this time. I used the Tablescapes Spring /Summer cartridge for this:
It is getting dark so it was harder to get a nice picture, and I am thinking I really want to play with this a little more.
I used paper from October afternoon Cakewalk Collection and twine. I mean really this is pretty simple but yep... I think I need to dress this up some more.

Cardstock is My Favorite Things
Patterned Paper is a 6x6 pad from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collection
Seam binding colored with a Memento Ink Pad and gems from my stash.
Two more to go and I am done with Day 1!

#CirclevilleNSD Day 1 Challenge 9 Lift it Up
And this completes the day 1 challenges - this weekend I hope to conquer Day 2!
This challenge was called Lift It up, it was to take an image and add dimension to it.
This is a Saturated Canary image called Queenie and Princess.
I stamped it 4 times onto some Xpress it blending paper and then cut those images out with my Brother Scan and Cut. Then I fussy cut the parts that I was going to add the dimension to.
The image was colored with Copics and backed onto My Favorite Things cardstock. Not sure which sentiment I will add to this yet but I sure am happy to have another card ready in my stash.
Blessings, Jenny

#CirclevilleNSD Challenge #5 Two Tickets to Paradise
This challenge was to come up with what would be paradise for you. Well, living in the midwest this year has been challenging, so my paradise would be a relaxing day on the beach with a good book in my hand:
This sassy lady was made using the Fun in the Sun Cricut cartridge cut with my Explore. The sun was from the Designers Calendar cartridge. Paper for the card base is from Bazzil, and the images were cut with cardstock from My Favorite things. The patterned paper is from a 6x6 DCWV stack.

#CirclevilleNSD Challenge #4 Make Mine a Mini
The fun continued for sure! This challenge was to use one 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper to make a mini. Many of the other participants had a great idea to use this to store passwords. Not sure what I will use this for yet but I really like it.
I again used some October Afternoon from my stash (I am hooked on this company!!!) The 12x12 sheet is from the sidewalks collection, the binder is also from a 8x8 piece from the same collection. The ribbon, buttons, banner and duck are embellishments are from Sidewalks as well.

#CirclevilleNSD Challenge #3 - #1 Fan is a Man
Hello Again,
Challenge #3 here for our celebration. This one took some time for sure but was well worth it. I made this mini using pictures from my sons first year of football in 2009 and I just may make this my hubbys Fathers Day gift. (This is very picture heavy.)
The papers I used are from two 8x8 pads from the October Afternoon Collections:
Sidewalks and 5 & Dime.
It is truly amazing when you flip through your paper pads at all the hidden treasures. All embellishments are just from stash I have on hand.
Blessings, Jenny
