My sons second grade class is discussing weather and they have read Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and will be showing the movie this week. To go along with the unit, the kids needed to make a diorama of sorts to depict some funky weather. Well, we came up with a tic tac tornado. Now mind you, he had to put this together (with a little help from mom) and then write a story to go along with his project.
We cut out some houses, a road, trees, birds, leaves, clouds, lightening bolts and a tornado:
He was pretty proud of it and is excited to read his story at school. Thanks for sharing in our class project.
Blessings, Jenny

Don't you just love doing these things. We had to do a major book report every month when my sone was in grade school. We used everything we could think of including the kitchen sink (LEGO sink). It's actually when I purchased my first circle paper punch and patterend card stock. I purchased my cricut for high school projects because they needed to look better.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a card swap. How do I join something like that?
