30 Days of Sketches with Christy's Beautiful Life Day 7 - #30DSCBL9

 Day 7 is here, one week down a few more to go. I have truly enjoyed this process and participating with so many talented creatives. 

Today's sketch is from PageMaps:

For this sketch I used the Simple Stories Bloom & Grow collection from 2016. The title is from Rosie's Studio.

So, this doesn't match the sketch exactly...my photos were too big and I didn't want to cut them down anymore. I love how this came out and happy to be continuing to use stash product! Win - Win.

 Here we are at day 6. This time it is a 2 page sketch from Lottie Loves Paper. 

I used the Daydream Collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios.

 Today is day 5 - I really enjoyed working with this sketch:

Here is what I came up with:

I used the Echo Park Splendid Sunshine collection from 2014. Distressed all the edges with the Tim Holtz distresser, Rosie's studio for the title, flower dies and liquid pearls. I am so glad that I have so many pictures of my grand baby! She is my joy!!

 Here we are at day 4 and this sketch was shared by Brenda Ragsdale:

I used the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine collection again on this one. Throughout this series - I killed that kit!! 

I also used the Creative Memories circle cutter, distressed all the paper edges and made butterflies using my Martha Stewart punch.

For this layout I used an old collection from Echo Park - Splendid Sunshine from 2014. The title is from Rosies studio and photo corners are from Heidi Swapp. I also used distress ink in picked raspberry.

 Day 2 sketch is from Traci Reed. Fun right?!?!

As I mentioned yesterday, not only did I want the challenge of the sketches, but I also wanted to challenge myself to use older product. 

This is an old collection from 2014!! Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine, looks like it could be a brand new collection from today if you ask me. Other items include, foam words from Freckled Fawn, frame and star dies and some flair from Scrappin Happy Studio.

30 Days of Sketches w/Christy's Beautiful Life - Day 1 #30DSCBL9

I thought it was time to dust off the old blog here and start sharing some of my pages. The perfect opportunity came up by participating in 30 Days of sketches with Christy's Beautiful Life. This was just the inspiration I needed. I have joined in with a wonderful group of crafters who will be creating all month long. There will be a hop on YouTube and lots of additional inspiration on Instagram as well. 

Sketch number one was created by Lisa Sikorski from Scrap A Sketch.

My take on the Sketch:

I used the beautiful Unforgettable collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios. This collection was released in 2019.

You see another of my goals with this challenge was to also use older product that was already in my stash. It was nice to make my old stuff feel new again.
