Happy Halloween Bats

I completely stole this from Greenbean - a fellow blogger who creates the most fun things. Not just cricut but every item I believe she looks at to see what she can create. Definitely an inspiration. I wanted to share with the girls in my office just a little treat and also the other moms whom have endured this football season with me (a few more weeks to go since our boys made the playoffs - GO KNIGHTS!!!)

So here are Bath and Body mini hand sanitizers and bats!

I did make 30 of these but had handed several out before taking a picture (DOH!!).

Anyway, Happy Halloween and Many Blessings!!

Giving Forward

The card making bonanza is done! I delivered them all yesterday (and today I put together 35 halloween treat bags - UGH!!!)

Anyway, here is a glimpse of the cards I made that will be put in baskets for a raffle along with other scrapbooking supplies that I donated.

I did 20 different designs - 10 Christmas and 10 Birthday creating 2 of each of those designs for a total of 40 cards. Easy Peasy right? NOPE!!! I really wanted to do so much more with fun folds but time just was not there. I will have to keep this fundraiser on my calendar for next year and give myself more then 2 weeks to get this done. I will post more individual pictures soon as there were so many I really loved!!

When you have the opportunity - Give Forward - you never know when you will be on the receiving end.

Breast Cancer Ribbons

Well, I am still working on the cards for the benefit but in between I am trying to work on some other things. Seeing that October is breast cancer awareness month, I was wondering how I could work on something that the boys could wear on their football helmets. I completely forgot that I have the cuttlebug die with the ribbon symbol. SO - I went to Michaels yesterday and bought a Xyron sticker maker. Last night while watching TV (Say Yes to the Dress - hahaha) I cut out 120 pink ribbons and then ran them through the Xyron. (Unfortunately, my neck is now killing me from the way I was sitting leaning over the cuttlebug and xyron - DOH!!)

Here are some pictures of the ribbons and the stickers. I will get some pictures tomorrow of them actually on the boys helmets.

Have a Blessed Day all  and don't forget to schedule those mammograms!

Banners & More Banners

Hello Again,
I have been busy making cards for a Charity Benefit that a friend of mine holds each October called Giving Forward. I thought I would take a moment to share a few banners that I have worked on lately. First, here is the one I made for my sons Army themed Birthday Party last weekend. I used the Toy Story cartridge for the army guys, Country Life for the Banner cut and Birthday Bash for the letters. I used Distress ink on Kraft card stock for the banner itself:

This next Banner I made for my nephews 3rd Bitrthday. I used B is for Boy for the Banner, Mickey Font for the letters and I bought some Thomas the Train Chipboard to add:

I know those last pictures are not the best but I was unable to take pictures until after my SIL had picked it up. The YUMMY cake in the middle was made by my SIL. I will share some pictures later of all the goodies she made for my sons BD (can you say camoflauge fondant and chocolate army lego guys - YUMMO!!)

My Baby is 8 Today

Where does the time go? 8 years ago I woke up and headed to the hospital for a scheduled C-section. A few hours later I was holding this precious gift from God.  I must say that I love all of my children very much but this little guy really does tug at my heart. He is my only boy and my baby so I think that could be it but he still loves to cuddle and calls me mama (my girls are 23 and 18 no more cuddling just shopping - hahaha).  We will be pretty busy today hosting his birthday party with friends and family but I really just want to share my thoughts about this little guy.

He plays center for his football team, loves legos, he will craft with me and he is just getting into Halo army stuff. For Halloween this year we have changed from being some Star Wars character to a creepy Death Eater from Harry Potter. He will try fruit and vegetables when he is older (I may have to remind him about that one) and he walks around the house singing at the top of his lungs. I can still hug and kiss him when I drop him off at school but I can no longer call him Bubba in front of his friends.

Here he is:

I love you George - Happy Birthday my baby boy!!

Birthday Invitations

I was so excited to get the Toy Story cartridge as my son wants to have an Army themed Birthday party this coming weekend. Well the image of the Plastic Army men is PERFECT!! I had to make 25 of these and had lots of help from the little guy. I will be working on some decorations later this week and a birthday banner. Wish me luck!!

Time Flies When You Are SUPER Busy!!

I am so sorry that I have not posted, believe me it is not because I have not been crafting. Crafting has actually taken over.

Homecoming - 94 Footballs with Player Numbers & Stamped Names (not all shown - my fingers were black for days!!)

Then there were the 54 sets of Pom Poms with the stamped names as well (again not all shown):
We supplied all the kids with a free t-shirt for their homecoming gift which is what the tags were made for.

I will have several posts scheduled as I have cards to display that I made for my Circle Pal, a banner I made for my nephews birthday party, and all my fun stuff I made for the Circle Swarm this weekend. I am so excited to be attending where I will be able to meet so many of my Circle friends and really looking forward to meeting my Pal Scrapper Becca.

Blessings All, Jenny
