Birthday Tag for 6th Birthday

Hi Everyone - I made this tag for my nephews 6th birthday. He LOVES dinosaurs and I am always making him cards from the Dinosaur cartridge so I thought I would switch it up a bit and make a Dinosaur from the Robots cartridge. I thought it came our pretty cute. He loved it google eyes and all. I believe the paper is from Cosmo Cricut - Jack's world. Enjoy!

Made by Momo Challenge

I needed to work on a 40th birthday gift for a party that I am attending today so I figured, why not incorporate my gift into a challenge (besides - BONUS crafting time!). I used Life is a Beach for the Birthday card and then Mini Monograms for the gift. I thought I would give 6 handmade cards and envelopes that she can use for the gift. We are not supposed to bring gifts but I do not like to go anywhere enpty handed.

Enjoy and have a Blessed rest of the weekend!

ThrowBack Thursday challenge - Doodlecharms Layout

Well, I was definately challenged this week - create a layout??? What you are about to see was so much fun to do - even though the baby in the pictures is 23!!! Would you say I am way behind on my scrapbooking? Seriously, I only started scrapbooking about 4 years ago and it was so easy to scrapbook my 'baby' at the time as he was only 3. Now my 2 older kids (23 & 17) are like - MOM where are our scrapbooks. Well since I was not a scrapbooker when they were smaller I do not have as many pictures, but going through what I do have really brings back the sweetest memories. I have really been Blessed with the 3 greatest kids.

On to the layout, I used Doodlecharms as the challenge requested and were there a lot of 'baby' images to use: baby face (stamped with Princess Face from peachy keen), teddy bear (stickled), hearts (more stickles), ducks & baby bottles (yeah - more stickles!!!).  Enjoy - I am going to work on a 40th birthday present this evening and will hopefully post it tomorrow.

Blessings All! Jenny

Morning - Will be gone for a week!

I thought I would post some additional cards that I had made when making my challenge project yesterday. One card was for my cousins daughter that just became a Big Sister and the other was for a birthday boy. I again used Paper Doll Dress Up for the Big Sister Card and then used B is for Boy from the new Cricut Lite series for the Birthday card. Hope you like them!

I am bringing some stamps and markers/pencils & copics with me to start playing with that medium. Maybe I will be able to post some when I come back. I will be able to check in just not post ); Have a Blessed Week All!!!

ThrowBack Thursday

This week the challenge was to use Paper Doll Dress Up and a 3D image. I was confused at first because I thought we had to make a monster from this cartridge then Emma cleared that up and said any image from the cartridge would be ok. My neighbor has a little boy who is CRAZY about super heroes and his 5th birthday party is coming up. I used the Super Boy image and made a bag with Tags Bags Boxes and more. I thought it came out pretty cute! I used the emblem on the chest to write a 'G' for his name and on the belt I put a number 5 to represent his birthday.

Supplies used were all scraps!!! The only paper that was not a scrap was for the bad - it is DCWV All Abot Boys.

Cartridges: Paper Doll Dress & Tags Bags Boxes and More
Peachy Keen Faces & gelly roll pen & pop dots

Enjoy!!!

Hello Again - Card for Throwback Thursday!

Well, it has been a crazy busy week for me so I am so glad to be able to be home today and have a little time for crafting. This is my entry for Emmas throwback Thursday. This week she selected Stretch Your Imagination as the Cricut cartridge to use - also - needed to use the colors Blue, Red & Brown. I used the watering can with the bird. Hope that you enjoy and can be inspired.

If you want to enter the challenge, hop on over to Creative Time for Me.

Thanks Emma!!
