Another item I just had to have... the Tim Holtz die to make the cute accordian flowers. Very easy to use, but hard to get these flowers to stay together. I think you need like super glue or something...still working on it. I was able to put a few cards together but after sitting around for awhile the accordians did come apart.
The paper is all K & Co., the ribbon is from Stampin Up, I used an Elmers paint pen to add dots to the hearts and a gem on the middle of the heart also from K & Co. The stamp is from last year by Hero Arts.
Blessings, Jenny

ReplyDeleteThese are sooo cute. Even tho they are a pain, they are worth it. If you tried the atg and it didnt work, try the scotch quick dry glue. Then use your bone folder add pressure to the closure. Hope this helps. Let me know if it works
ReplyDeleteJess M :)
These flowers are just the sweetest, I'm going to have to hunt for this now
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog.
I love your cards the idea to put the accordian flowers on top of the heart is nice. I didn't know Tim Holtz had a die to make em I've made em before just using a scoreboard. I was going to suggest a glue however I don't know if it's still around. A while back I found some of Martha Stewart permanent glue it's clear runny glue looks like water; I used it to make my accordian and placed a heavy item on it to set it instead of holding it and It worked Wonderful! I'm a new follower Thanks !
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love those cards. You did a great job. So much detail. nice!
ReplyDeleteCute card! I use hot glue -- works like a charm, both for making sure the two ends stick together and that it is well-adhered to the base.
