Greeting Farm Digi Birthday Card

Hi Friends,
I hope you all know I do consider you friends! I so appreciate you checking out my Blog and when you comment it just makes my day -- you know what I mean!!

My daughter turns 25 today - seriously where did that come from. I am SO not old enough to have a 25 yr. old. Believe me when I say we have had our good times and our bad but I have to say I do love the woman she is becoming. She has a full time job and is going back to school so I am sure she has a great future ahead of her. I sure do love her!!

She requested an orange cake and I am taking her to see Mama Mia on Broadway in Chicago. The last few years we have done this as her gift and just time together a great show (we have seen Jersey Boys and Wicked) and delicious dinner, usually Cheesecake Factory -- YUM!!!!!

I put together this card for her using a digi from The Greeting Farm called Chibi Cupcakes:

I colored this cutie with Prisma pencils and Sakura Jelly rolls to give it some sparkle, and I pop dotted her up. The background paper is from a DCWV stack, I used an EK success punch and some brown ribbon from my stash. The 25 is from a thickers pack.

The inside:
The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Sweetest Cupcake set stamped with Rich Cocoa memento ink.

Here is my beautiful daughter Amanda:
Blessings Friends and enjoy your day,
Jenny

Classroom Valentines for 2012

Hello Beautiful Friends,

I was not planning to make my sons classroom Valentines this year but when I asked him if we could buy them he was not with the program. Well, I was looking through a scrapbooking magazine and I got an idea for something that was not too hard - I showed him the picture and he liked them so off to work I went.

I used my Imagine and the new cartridge Notebook Doodles and printed out some paper. Well, this is the first time I have used my Imagine for this and it was EASY. Why do I get so scared to try these new things? I have to have all the 'NEW' cartridges, machines and such and then they just sit there like a prized collection when they should be used. Well, that is a goal for this year -- USE MORE -- BUY LESS!!

I also used the Lacy Labels cartridge for the shape of the Valentine and the Bump In the Night cartridge for my little creature. I used a 5x7 cuttlebug folder to add dimension to the creature, pop dots to adhere him and of course a GIANT google eye. I used 2 different stamps for the back of the Valentine. The Let's Monster Mash saying is from Pink by Design A Haunting We Will go set, the second set I used was from Recollections called Celebrate Spring.

Well, my son loved them so I am glad that I did make them for him.

Blessings All - I am hoping to work on some layouts today,
Jenny

Glass Blocks with More Vinyl

Hello Again,
I made these glass blocks for my son's football banquet (I also made 40 little treats for some friends and several gift card holders that I FORGOT to take pictures of - sheesh!!)

The vinyl was cut using my E2 and the cricut decals cartridge that was pre- loaded. The '30' was cut using the Cricut Lite cartridge Varsity Letter. Inside I used Metallic crinkle.  These were really fun to make and they looked great on the check in table.

Heat Transfer Vinyl

Hello Again,
Wanted to share a shirt I had made for my hubby with some Heat Transfer Vinyl (from H & H sign supply). He told me exactly how he wanted this laid out and then when he wore it a few other coaches asked me to make them one too! FUN!!

Have a Blessed Day!!

Vinyl Car Decorations

Hello from Seattle!!!
My husband, son and I are on a little getaway. While they have been out watching football (Apple Cup yesterday Yeah Huskies Win!!! and Seahawks game today) I have had some awesome ALONE time!! LOL -- We have done quite a bit of sight seeing together but the trip was really for the two of them to go to the football games.

Anyway, I thought I would share another project that I made with Vinyl from H & H Sign supply. In October my sons team had their Homecoming parade. I thought I would decorate the car up some with vinyl and this is what I came up with:

I used my E2 to cut all the vinyl. Cartridges used included the E2 preloaded Cricut Decals, Varsity Lite and the Sports Mania cartridge. My son is #3 -- we won this game and actually ended up going to the Super Bowl which we did lose 13 - 6. But all in all we had an awesome season and were very proud of our boys.

Blessings All, Jenny

Discount Mugs Clear Cups & Vinyl

Hello,
Please forgive me as I know I have not been posting much. I am hoping to get back involved in my hobby full speed ahead after the holidays. Although, I will be working on some projects and will try to remember to take pictures and post them.

My most recent project was an order for some cups with a vinyl cheerleader applied along with the name of the organization. These cups will be given to the girls as an end of the year gift. Now the odd part of this is that this organization is the local rival to the team that my son plays for. I had made several of these cups for my friends who have children that play and someone from the other organization saw them and wondered if I would make them for them as well. I figured -- Why Not? I can make a couple of extra dollars for Christmas right.

Well enough rambling on. The Cheerleader is from Cricut Decals that was pre-loaded on my E2 and the lettering is also from the pre-loaded font cartridge that came with it as well. The team colors are red & blue. I purchased the cups from Discount Mugs and the vinyl from H & H sign supply.

The order was for 25 of these which turned into another order for 5 more. YEAH!!! Extra Christmas money.

Have a Blessed day all,
Jenny
