Engagement card

Yesterday a friend that my daughter works with got engaged. While we were emailing back and forth she mentioned she wanted to go and get them a card. I said that would be nice. She them immediately emailed me back stating or you could make one for me -- lol!

Well yesterday was a work day for me so I generally do not spend any time crafting but I have so much stuff I told her I would.

I used the Sweethearts cartridge from cricut. Paper is from Teresa Collins, a cuttlebug folder, LYB gem, ribbon from stash, pop dots and a red heart button with floss. This came together fairly quickly and my daughter seemed to love it. As a matter of fact she says she may want to use the same design for herself someday when sending out "Save the Dates".

Here is what I came up with:

Another LOTV Card

Hello again,

On my card making Monday I was able to put a total of 3 cards together but in an effort to post more frequently I decided not to post them all at once but spread them out over a couple of days.

Here is the second card I completed on Monday:

EEK!!! These Lili of the Valley stamps are just the sweetest images if you ask me. I colored up this cutie with Copics. The paper is My Minds Eye Everyday Flair 6x6 pad and stash for the layers. The ribbon is PTI Hibiscus Burst, pop dots and the ticket die and stamp are from My Creative Time.

Have a Sweet Day!!

Card Making Monday

Today I began a 30 day Spring Cleaning schedule that I found on Money Saving Mom, I got the family on board and figured since this will be broken into 30 days it will be manageable and at the end the house will be ready for summer! Yeah!!

I am very Blessed in that I only work 3 days a week, granted they are long days between 10 - 12 hours but it is nice to be off 4 days a week. The weekend is typically full of family obligations (sports and such) but on Monday and Tuesday I take care of the house, laundry, shopping and am hoping to be able to craft more regularly. I LOVE working on cards - I think it is the immediate gratification thing, so I am going to work on continuing to build up my stash with those on Monday's. On Tuesday's I am hoping to get my 9,999,999 pictures onto pages to continue to capture those family memories.

OK enough blathering, today I colored up this adorable Lili of the Valley image and got her onto a card:

I colored the image with Copics, used My Minds Eye Everyday Flair 6x6 pad for the paper and PTI Blueberry Sky for the card. Prima Flowers, pop-dots, spellbinders die, memento ink and the sentiment is from TPC.

I think she is as sweet as can be and definitely looks to be enjoying the moment!!

Happy Easter!

One of my favorite songs in church on Easter Sunday is Christ the Lord is Risen Today!! Alleluia - what and amazing promise and gift from our Lord and Savior!

Yesterday I made some cards to give to my nieces and nephews today:

These cuties were cut using the Teddy Bear parade cartridge, a Peachy Keen Face, a My Creative Time stamp and paper from my stash.

Here is my niece who came over yesterday to help color eggs:

I just love these 2!!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!

Unity Friends with Flair

Did you see the last release by Unity?!?! There are some new sassy sayings by  Erin Schreiner (the stamp I used is from the set Hiya Gorgeous) and some fashionista girls by Tracey Malnofski (the one I used is Claire).

Well, I ordered as soon as I saw them, they arrived yesterday and today I inked them up. I wanted to play with the Unity Friends with Flair that they host on Fridays.

Here is my gorgeous gal:

I colored Claire up with Copics and used some diamond stickles to give her that extra sparkle. My background paper, fancy flower ribbon and black shiny brad is from Teresa Collins.

I HIGHLY recommend checking out this last release and Unity is giving presents when you spend $25 or more (how SWEET is that!!)

Cards and more Cards

Hello Again.
In my last post I showed you some images that I was coloring. Some of these images made it onto cards and some made it into the trash (honestly - after playing with them I was not loving the outcome).

So here are a few of the keepers...

All of these have been colored using spectra markers.

The top one is a TGF image a PTI sentiment and ribbon and some stickles. Paper from WRM.

The piggies in the tub is a Peachy Keen image, a My Creative Time sentiment, some floss and LYB gems. Paper is DCWV.

The cheerleader is from TGF, a My Creative Time sentiment, Twinery twine and a button. Paper is DCWV.

The lady relaxing with the chocolate is from My Favorite Things, flowers, brads and Websters pages ribbon, paper and sentiments.

Hope you enjoy them!

Blessings, Jenny

Keeping Busy

Hello All,
I am such a bad blogger - I post all my stuff on Facebook and then am to lazy to come a write up a post.

I have worked on putting some pictures on pages (as I stated only 9999999 to go!!):

I have worked on some party decorations:

And I have been coloring (you know since I need to buy all the cute stamps I see...):
So as you can see I still love to be crafty. I will again, try to be a little more consistent when posting as I love looking through so many posts. Thanks for being patient with me and for continuing to follow.

Have a Blessed Day!! Jenny
